In Rainbows ( Xurbia_Xendless Limited ‎– _X_X001, 2007): The best-sounding Radiohead record I own, first edition. B+Īmnesiac ( XL Recordings ‎– XLLP783, 2LP 10" 2016): Like the sound of this a lot, as explained above. Kid A ( XL Recordings ‎– XLLP 782B, 2-LP, 2016): There is a nice silkiness to songs like "How To Disappear Completely", but not much mind-blowing here. The best-sounding stuff here to my ears are the 3 bonus tracks they unearthed for this, they sound great. Very brickwalled and harsh, I do think they kind of bungled this re-release. OK Computer (OKNOTOK) )( XL Recordings ‎– XLLP868, Blue vinyl, 2017): Got to admit, I don't like the sound of the remastered OKC here at all. Some of it sounds sublime, but I notice considerable noise during "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" at the end, which is disappointing. The Bends ( XL Recordings ‎– XLLP780, 2016): A lot here crammed onto a single 331/3 record, as mentioned. I'll list the ones I have with company, year & thoughts: Also, the horns on "Life In A Glasshouse", though I don't love the song, sound incredible on the 2016, and made me appreciate the song a bit more after hearing it.

Actually, recall that those people, who bought the Box Set had problems with Vinyl Pressings, so guess it also was an EU Pressing Plant, but thought Radiohead used MPO, which usually puts out good Pressings(I bought Deerhunter's 'Fading Frontier' from Amazon-UK to get the MPO Pressing last month, as read a lot problems with the US Pressings(not sure but maybe by Rainbo?) for that album.Ĭlick to expand.Well, I think it's a nice, spacious-sounding mix, where I could pick out parts in "Pyramid Song" and "Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors" that I had never noticed before. I recall several complaints on the Vinyl for 'A Moon Shaped Pool', but not sure if it was only US Pressed versions or also EU Pressed Versions, so I was waiting out a few years and wonder now if more recent Pressings(EU) are now better, so maybe someone else on here can comment, on the EU Pressings from the original Release Date, or if anyone bought that album in the past 6-12 months, and if any problems. I did not care for Yorke's 'The Eraser' that he created on his laptop, and like parts of 'Kid A' and Electronic Blips & Beeps on the B-Sides to 'Hail to the Thief', I just hated(even the album did not have too many songs similar to those B-Sides, although the problem with HTTT, was it was too bloated with 4-5 filler songs so should have been trimmed down, but love 'There, There' and Great Video for that song and '2+2=5', which finally thew us '90s Radiohead fans a guitar driven rock song again and could have fit on 'The Bends' I only own one Johnny Greenwood Film Soundtrack(There Will Be Blood), so need to buy his other Film Soundtracks in the near future. I really like 'A Moon Shaped Pool' as they finally started to try something new and most of the songs are good and do get better with repeat listens. I thought 'Kink of Limbs' was their worst album(although the last song 'Separator' is another one of my favorite songs from them post 2000. 'In Rainbows' has been my favorite Radiohead album since 'OKC', and a few great B-Sides, including 'Down is the New Up' being one of my favorite post 2000 Radiohead Songs. I was not as big on 'Kid A' & 'Amnesiac' but the music was recorded the same time and think it was intended to be a double album, but I think taking the best 5-6 songs from those 2 albums, would have made a great album(although nowhere near as good as 'OKC'-IMO). I think 'The Bend' is a great album(their 2nd Best). Click to expand.Well, 'OK Computer' is not only my favorite Radiohead Album, but is also my #1 Favorite Album of all time, as I bought the CD the day of it's release on July 1, 1997(bought at a Best Buy in Mission Viejo, CA, so ironic that Best Buy is apparently ending CD sales this year on July 1st-21 years later) and had it playing in my car 5-6 days per week for the next 6 months, as multiple listens kept revealing new layers(like any great music), and my favorite song on the album would change every few weeks during that time.
